Jarrah Timber Furniture

The timber from the Eucalyptus marginata is more commonly known by its indigenous name of Jarrah.  This tree is the most common species of Eucalyptus found in the southwestern parts of Western Australia.  This tree thrives on iron and aluminum rich soils which results in its characteristically red tones.  It is a slow and straight growing tree that reaches a height of 40m tall.

This new harvested timber is richly coloured from blonde to deep red, with beautiful grains, fiddleback as well as being termite and rot resistant. The dried timber is very strong making it more difficult to work with.

Due to its durability and water resistance Jarrah timber has a wide range of uses makes reclaimed timber easy to come by.
