Inspired by the soft arc of a waxing moon, the Crescent Moon Door Handle is a beautifully rounded timber handle with smooth edges and a sculptural feel. Available in three sizes, it’s designed to suit a variety of applications from a statement front door handle to refined cabinetry handles throughout the home.
Each circular timber door handle is meticulously hand-turned by our head furniture maker, Luke. Working at the lathe, he transforms leftover pieces of solid timber from the furniture-making process into beautifully sculpted handles. The result is a refined, tactile design that brings character and craftsmanship to your front door or cabinetry.
These handles are more than beautiful; they’re a celebration of sustainability. Made from premium Australian hardwoods like Blackbutt and Tasmanian Blackwood, we craft them where possible from timber offcuts left over from the furniture-making process. Instead of going to landfill, this timber finds new purpose as a one-of-a-kind front door handle.
Whether you're finishing a welcoming entrance, updating kitchen cabinet handles or adding an organic touch to a vanity or TV unit, our circular timber handles come in a range of sizes to suit your needs. For a cohesive look, we can craft them from the same timber as your Bombora furniture, ensuring a perfect match across your joinery.
Blind fixing - This is the best option for a timber front door handle as there is no fixing visible on the other side. This is only suitable for solid timber doors.
Screw fixing - This is the best option for applications where the attachment doesn’t need to be hidden and the material is thin such as a wardrobe door handle.
180mm - The perfect choice for smaller cabinetry pieces such a TV cabinet or vanity drawer handles
240mm - This size is great for larger applications such as pantry or wardrobe door handles
350mm - The ultimate in front door handles, this size makes a serious impact
